Farm Cultural Park is an urban regeneration project in a small sicilian village started out as an art gallery and now evolved into an art district that occupies the entire historic centre. Favara was a rundown and dying village better know for desolation but 4 years ago something has changed and it is growing every year more starting from the idea of Andrea Bartoli of buying several abandoned dwellings and turning them into places which can present art through a style that can speak to everyone. Thanks to artists, designers and professionists the area has been converted through a participated process of making art together. Farm Cultural Park today hosts temporary and permanent exhibitions, artists housing, workshops, books presentations, architecture competition. One of the biggest achievement is the impact on Favara and its community, that have filled the village with activities and structure to host the huge visitors streaming.
